HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Northeast Gymnastics Academy Team continued its relationship with the Special Olympics by recently volunteering at the gymnastics summer games at the University Park campus of Penn State University.
Northeast Gymnastics Academy Team members have worked with the Special Olympics for several years and have built strong bonds with Special Olympic athletes. These athletes come from all over Pennsylvania to compete. The Northeast Academy gymnasts encouraged and cheered on the Special Olympic participants. Coach Lori Dexter commends her gymnasts for participating. “I’m proud of my gymnasts for getting involved in this extraordinary event. Serving others is a rewarding experience.”
